Alex is a certified birth and postpartum doula who completed her training and certification through Doula Trainings International (DTI) in January 2020.  She’s a native Texan living in East Austin with her husband and 3-year-old spirited daughter. Alex has always been passionate about influencing positive change and educating people about the birth experience. Her own journey navigating through her pregnancy and postpartum experience and anxieties inspired her to pursue her passion to assist others during this life-changing time.

After her own birth experience, it was clear that she had found a new calling.  She understands that everyone’s experience is unique and strives to empower and support her clients regardless of the birth path they choose.  She is also passionate about assisting families through their postpartum experience to help set realistic expectations and to nurture the mind, body, and soul.  Alex understands the importance of newborn care. She is also passionate about providing encouragement and support for the birthing person and partner for they too have just been reborn and need to be nurtured and cared for.  She looks forward to providing her clients the support she needed during her own experience.
