Anna Marie rosenlieb (they/she) Birth & Postpartum Doula (dona)

I believe that birth is a sacred threshold that nobody should walk through alone. No two births are the same, so my role as a doula can look a million different ways; I show up for you as a guide, advocate, educator, witness, or space holder. I have been called to this work for as long as I can remember; as the daughter of a long line of nurses and caregivers, this practice feels deeply ancestral. I am honored to be on this path and to be trusted by folks to join them in this journey.

I am here to offer evidence-based resources and a non-judgmental container. My core beliefs are rooted in reproductive justice, bodily autonomy, informed consent, anti-oppression, and pleasure activism. As a queer birthworker, I am particularly attuned to the infinite possibilities that love, family, and gender expression contain during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Working with me means you’ll have access to my comprehensive set of skills to help you prepare physically and emotionally for the unexpected twists and turns of childbirth and beyond.

I grew up next to the pacific ocean on Tongva land (aka southern California) and since 2020 I’ve found home under the big blue skies of central Texas on Jumanos, Coahuiltecan, Comanche,Lipan Apache, and Tonkawa land. Beyond birthwork, my path has included extensive time as a food and farm youth educator, gardener, yoga teacher, and community herbalist. Some of the things that make me happiest are jumping into Barton Springs, cooking for my loved ones, learning the names of plants, dancing the night away, and taking long hikes with my dog, George.
