Beyond the Basics Childbirth Class will give you all the tips, tricks, and tools you need for your labor, birth, and postpartum time. Kim is the Mom of 6 and has been deep in the birth world since 2002. She brings the knowledge she has gained through giving birth and supporting families, to you.
In this 4 week course, we will talk about all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. No topic is taboo or off limits. We will explore what birth really looks like and what you want from your birth experience.
Beyond the Basics is designed to help you make informed and educated decisions about your birth. You will learn not only what to expect at your chosen birthing location, but what your body is doing, how you can best be supported, what questions to ask your provider, and what choices and decisions there are to make. We will also explore comfort measures for labor, what birth looks like at home, birth center, or hospital, and of course, the nitty gritty of bringing your little one(s) home.
Whether you’re a first time mom or a sixth time mom, this class features tried and true strategies and advice that you won’t get from your mother or your doctor.
