This class is designed for the birthing parent and their baby. Babies participating in this class are non-crawlers in order to safely allow for parents to enjoy their practice.
The instructor will facilitate sitting in community with other parents going through the same stages in order to normalize how hard postpartum can be as we are rebirthed as parents. Yoga flows will be created in a way to gently move your body while you are in recovery mode and regaining your practice. This is an all levels class that will have the postpartum body in mind. We recognize that babies have their own schedule: feeding and changing your baby is expected and crying babies are welcome. The instructor will take turns holding crying babies if this helps you enjoy your time in class.
