Associate Doula
Birth, and the idea of birth, can mean different things to different people. For some, it’s a spiritual transition and rite of passage. For others, it’s simply a necessary means to an end. Whether you look forward to birth as a profound mystery to uncover or just want to get through it, your feelings are valid and I’m here to support you and your people.
To me, being a doula means being many things: a companion, a listener, an advocate, a guide, a resource, a provider of snacks, a pair of loving hands, and a reminder that there is no “right way” to walk the path of pregnancy or parenthood. I’m here to ensure that your voice is heard, your body remains yours, and to be a source of light (and laughter) in the haze of uncertainty. As things change and evolve, I’m here to adapt to the needs of the moment–or more aptly, to the needs of your moment.
I believe in full-spectrum support, informed choice, and thoughtful advocacy for pregnant people and their families. I trained with Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings in 2024 as a Full-Spectrum Doula and Mamasana Vibrant Woman in 2018 as a Birth Companion. In addition to working as an Associate Doula at ADC, I’m also a birthworker for GALS, an Austin nonprofit whose mission is to improve birth outcomes and ensure no one births alone.
When I’m not in the birth space, I love exploring new nature trails with my partner and five-year-old son, digging through bins at the Goodwill Outlet, and practicing sweaty vinyasa yoga.
